Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Dough mobile app, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Dough, you agree to them.
1 · Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for protecting access to your phone number and Dough account and for activity performed through it. Provide accurate information and connect only financial accounts and cards you are authorized to access.
2 · What Dough provides
Dough provides historical reward estimates, card comparisons, merchant recommendations, optional perk-match suggestions, and related analytics. Results depend on connected data, current catalog rules, category mappings, valuation assumptions, spending caps, and annual fees.
An automated perk suggestion means only that a transaction may be plausible evidence of using a perk. It does not verify an issuer credit or change a perk to Used without your confirmation. Automatic suggestions are enabled by default after you accept the disclosure and can be disabled at any time in Settings in favor of manual-only tracking.
Welcome offers, approval odds, card eligibility, merchant coding differences, issuer changes, taxes, interest, late fees, and redemption availability may not be included unless a screen expressly says otherwise.
3 · No financial advice or guarantee
Dough is an informational tool, not a bank, card issuer, financial adviser, credit-repair service, or guarantee of rewards. Verify card terms with the issuer before applying, spending, or relying on a recommendation. You remain responsible for payment decisions, balances, fees, credit consequences, and compliance with issuer terms.
4 · Connected services
Twilio delivers and verifies sign-in codes, Dough manages authenticated sessions, and Plaid handles financial-account connections. Map and card-catalog providers may supply merchant or card information. Automatic suggestions are enabled by default after you accept the disclosure, and OpenAI may process minimized transaction-derived merchant/category and perk-rule data as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disable Automatic suggestions at any time in Settings. Their services and terms also apply when you use those features. Dough cannot control an institution, issuer, network, or provider outage or data error.
5 · Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass security controls, access another person’s data, automate abusive requests, interfere with operation, reverse engineer protected service components, or use Dough unlawfully.
6 · Ownership and feedback
Dough and its licensors retain rights in the app, software, design, and service content. You retain rights in information you provide and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
7 · Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will provide notice when reasonably practical for a material change that affects active users. You may stop using Dough and delete your account at any time.
8 · Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties that every estimate, recommendation, merchant category, or catalog rule will be complete or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Dough is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost rewards, issuer decisions, or financial charges arising from use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
